When I learned all that went into fly fishing, I had to make a film about it. Taletellers Fly Shop is a staple in the fly fishing community in Lynchburg, focused on educating and equipping others to enjoy nature through this incredible hobby.
The goal of the film was to be from the perspective of the fisherman. We wanted to capture the heart of the fly fishing experience with a full script, voiceover, and score.
At the heart of the film is this sentiment: a true fisherman knows that it's not about the fish; it's about the experience.
